Terms of Service

Welcome to LapFix. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LapFix mobile application and laptop repair services provided by ScopeCode ("we", "our", or "us") located in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.

By using our app or services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

LapFix provides:

  • Laptop repair booking and scheduling services
  • Software troubleshooting and fixes
  • Hardware diagnostics and repairs
  • Parts replacement services
  • Free estimates for software issues

2. Booking and Appointments

Scheduling

  • All bookings are subject to availability
  • We will confirm appointments via WhatsApp or phone
  • Appointments are available 6 days a week (Saturday to Thursday)

Cancellations

  • You may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours notice
  • Repeated no-shows may result in service restrictions

3. Pricing and Payment

Free Diagnosis: Basic software issue diagnosis is provided free of charge.

  • Hardware repairs require a paid diagnosis if parts are needed
  • Quotes will be provided before any repair work begins
  • Payment is due upon completion of services
  • We accept cash and bank transfer
  • Prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED)

4. Warranty

  • Software repairs: 7-day warranty on the same issue
  • Hardware repairs: 30-day warranty on parts and labor
  • Warranty does not cover physical damage, water damage, or issues caused by third-party modifications
  • Original receipt or booking confirmation required for warranty claims

5. Device Care

When bringing your laptop for repair:

  • Back up your data before service (we are not responsible for data loss)
  • Remove any passwords or provide them to our technicians
  • Inform us of any known issues or previous repairs

6. Liability

  • We take reasonable care of devices in our possession
  • We are not liable for pre-existing conditions or undisclosed issues
  • Maximum liability is limited to the cost of the repair service
  • We are not responsible for data loss; always back up your data

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and device information
  • Be available for your scheduled appointment
  • Collect your device within 30 days of repair completion
  • Not use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

8. Intellectual Property

The LapFix app, including its design, logos, and content, is owned by ScopeCode. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service at our discretion
  • Terminate access to the app for violations of these Terms
  • Modify or discontinue services with reasonable notice

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Al Ain, UAE.
